The Ice Anchor is machined from a 1" thick, solid billet of UV stabilized High Density Polyethylene. This material was chosen for its strength, stability and resistance to abrasion and water. A handle is machined into the anchor and positioned for proper balance while carrying.

The 3 anchor pins are machined from 400 series stainless steel and impulse hardened on the hammered end to resist chipping and deformation during repeated hammer blows.

The winch is a single speed stainless steel marine winch imported from Denmark. It is the finest available and will last a lifetime. The winch is supplied with an 11" stainless steel handle and gives a 8.3:1 mechanical advantage to the operator.

A 3 lb. hammer is supplied to drive the pins in.

A 12"x18" drawstring bag is supplied containing and used to store the winch handle, hammer and pins.
